ABOUT HOW TO HOME EDUCATE
How to Home Educate has been set up to assist those suddenly finding themselves in the role of home teacher, as a result of school closures during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Before we go any further, please go to The School View.

How to Home Educate (HHE) is also for those considering the home education option once the schools reopen as well as families who already educate their children at home but feel the need of some guidance.

The aim of HHE is to cater for a range of approaches that help children discover the joy and excitement of learning.

Here at HHE, we respect that each family is unique in its dynamics, practical functioning, time management, lifestyle,
viewpoints, and most importantly, vision of how they would like their child's
experience of eduction to be.

As there is such a vast number of different approaches to home education, not all of them are covered here. HHE brings into focus three main methods and encourages you to select the one that most resonates with your family:

1. The standard school model following the established curricula

2. The bespoke structured approach

3. The primarily spontaneous and experiential approach
The range of materials offered takes into consideration that, in the wake of unemployment due to the Coronavirus, some families are unable to invest money into finding out about the rudiments of home education. For such people we offer a free resource of general guidance and support. This advice is based on the Standard School Model and can be found in Classroom 1.

In classrooms 2a, 2b and 2c you will find materials that have been put together to provide more extensive and detailed advice and guidance.

Classroom 2a defines the Standard School Model and gives comprehensive help regarding how to stay up to speed with it at home.

Classroom 2b defines the Bespoke Structure Approach and explains how to design your own unique home educating structure.

Classroom 2c defines the Primarily Spontaneous and Experiential Approach and offers a range of guidance to ensure your success.

Classroom 3 is for those wanting fully detailed lessons for the Standard School Model.

Classroom 4 is where you will find a wealth of detailed ideas for designing your own Bespoke Structured home education.

The Staff Room is also available to provide you with personal assistance and have your questions answered.

The Exam Office is the place to go if you need advice on standard scholastic qualifications including GCSEs and A Levels.

Let the fun begin!
